Marriage Apostile

Requirements:

• Request letter from applicant
• Copy of Namibian Birth Certicate
• Copy of Marriage Cerfificate

Renunciation of Namibian Citizenship (Namibia does not allow dual Citizenship)

Requirements:

• Filled Appliction Form (On Request)
• Give up original Namibian Passport
• Give up original Namibian Identity Card

Birth Registration

Requirements:

• Filled Application form
• Original Parents birth certificates
• Original Parents Namibian Passport or identity cards

Birth Certificate

Requirements:

• Filled Application form
• Original Parents birth certificates
• Original Parents Namibian Passport or identity card

Duplicated abridged full birth certificate

Requirements:

• Filled Application form
• Copy of birth certificate
• Original Parents birth certificates
• Original Parents Namibian Passport or identity card

Passport application

Requirements:

• Filled application form (to be filled at Embassy by appointment)
• Two recent identical passport photos
• Original Birth Certificate
• Original of Passport

Namibians travelling abroad

Namibian Nationals do not require Visas when travelling to the countries listed below:

* Applies only to Official and Diplomatic Passport Holders
** Applies only to Holders of Diplomatic Passports
*** Applies only to official business visitors - attending workshops, seminars and official functions of the AU and the UNECA and other UN Organs
